Car Pollution and the Environment

Anyone want to help me on this one, too?

Why is it that we are getting hammered here in ENGLAND for tax on fuel, which apparently is somewhat down to vehicle engine emissions, according to President Blair?

Having worked in the diesel engine business, I know for a fact that car and goods vehicle engines are hundreds of times more efficient and clean burning than they were, say, 30 years ago.

If this is the case, why isn't Phoney Tony having words with Bully Boy Bush to make the CARB regulations more effective in the Colonies, as they are such good friends?

Road Chaos!

Anybody travel down the M6 last Friday between Penrith, and say, Brum?

Anybody want to tell me why it took me over three hours to do this journey? Come on, there must be some government official who collects the 28,000,000 (Government Statistics Office) x £140 (average) = £3,920,000,000, and can explain to us that pay it, exactly where it goes? Hmm? Certainly not on the roads, is it? More likely spent on Blair fighting a non existent Weapons of Mass Destruction enemy in The Middle East?

The road infrastructure in the UK must be equal to that of Ethiopia - only in Ethiopia there are no 4 miles of cones with three 'workers' looking at The Sun.

Any views on this?

St George Cross Banned In England!

This icon of the British Empire seems to be losing its strength in today's much wanted multi-cultural England. I have read today that Prison Officers in ENGLAND are not allowed to wear this sacred emblem as it is deemed racist.

Racist, now there's a word you don't want to mess with. Would we have racism if we all deemed ourselves ENGLISH born and bred? And for those that use this word, it is just as easy to leave England as it is to get in these days. There have unfortunately been many natural disasters over the past 18 months - population checks, as I seem to remember it being called, so there is plenty of space out there for you to fill.
